Hope this email finds you well, wherever you are. Only if we end the pandemic everywhere can we end the pandemic anywhere.

RAPEL is a waste management app that provides direct waste-collection service from homes or business premises. Our aim is to reduce the amount of waste that ends up in the landfill – especially during this pandemic season where food deliveries and take-outs have been heavily using single-use plastics in most food packaging.

Therefore, in the past few months, the RAPEL operations team have been approaching businesses in the F&B industry, knocking on doors of restaurants, cafes and bars – as well as hotels to inked partnership agreement from them to entrust RAPEL to be their waste solution provider. For this, we managed to secure partners to work with us in Jogjakarta, Semarang and Solo.

We would like to announce that RAPEL has expanded into Solo city last month. We are currently working to develop a franchise system where we seek out franchisees to be the ‘Central Stockist’ for collectors to sell the wastes they have collected. A Central Stockist will leverage on the existing use of our RAPEL app to receive wastes from collectors who have picked up wastes from households or SME retail shops. These Central Stockist then re-sell the waste at a higher value to guaranteed recycling plant buyer. And, one of the Recycling Plant Buyer will be our own ‘Rapel Recycler’.

Pictures below gives you a glimpse of some of our activities and operations that are on-going despite a growing virus outbreak. They work every day, rain or shine to clear as much wastes by getting all these to the warehouse/recycling centres.
